Enrolling at Hesket Primary School
Hesket Primary School currently has a capped enrolment of 75 students. In 2024 we expect numbers to be approximately 70 students. If you are interested in enrolling at our school, please complete an enrolment form and send to the school office at hesket.ps@education.vic.gov.au.

Our school follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement, and transfer of students.

In Victorian government schools, the management of personal information and health information is governed by Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic) and Health Records Act 2001 (Vic) (collectively, Victorian privacy law). In addition, the Department and Victorian government schools must comply with the Victorian Data Sharing Act 2017. Here is a link to the Department of Education's Privacy Collection Statement.

Students who live within the school zone are guaranteed a place at our school. To find out whether you live in zone, visit findmyschool.vic.gov.au

All other applications will be considered subject to available space, and prioritised according to:

students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time
all other students in order of closeness of their home to the school.

Prep Enrolment Timeline for 2025 Prep Enrolment
Term 1: Tours invited for 2025 enrolments
Term 2: 2025 tours continue - enrolment applications open
Term 3: 2025 tours continue - enrolment applications due by Friday 26th July. Parents notified of enrolment application outcome Friday 9th August
Term 4: Transition sessions commence.
