A Message from the Principal

My name is Seona Aulich and I would like to extend a warm welcome to you as you explore Hesket Primary School’s website.

Hesket Primary School is situated in the beautiful Macedon Ranges, nestled between Mount Macedon and Hanging Rock. We have a rich history and strong school community and will celebrate our 151st birthday this year.

Having worked predominantly in metropolitan schools, I'm throughly enjoying my role as Principal at Hesket Primary, working with staff and community to build a truly wonderful school in the area in which I live.

Hesket Primary School is small enough to be personal and large enough to have great benefits. In the last two years we have grown from 18 students to our current enrolment of 43 students. Our buildings and grounds are spacious with ample play areas and classrooms to further grow with our community.

We believe in creating a safe, caring and supportive learning environment for all students. My passion is centred around providing opportunities for every student to succeed academically, socially, creatively, emotionally and physically.

At Hesket:

  • all children are accepted as individuals
  • all programs strive to bring out the best in every student
  • all programs recognise and support students’ academic, artistic, environmental, social and sporting talents
  • the school works to ensure teamwork among School Council, staff, students and the wider community
  • the school recognises and welcomes parent participation where parents are partners with teachers in achieving outcomes for their children.

Why Hesket? Because from our first conversation, we'll get to know you and your child and then a true partnership in your child's education will begin.

Please contact me so I can show you around our beautiful school.

Warm Regards,
